Cruz is an asshole to be sure but he seems to have been pretty well-behaved

on the campaign trail so far. One might almost say mild-mannered. What remains to be seen is whether that's only because he's campaigning against Trump and anyone would look well-behaved by comparison. But at a minimum it means he's a fairly savvy campaigner.

Cruz has pissed off his colleagues, but not to the extent they'll support Hillary in a race against her. I'm pretty leery about a Cruz candidacy, let alone presidency, but I'll gladly take it if Trump is the alternative.... and I think Cruz can beat Hillary while Trump cannot.
