The notion of "society" shutting down speech is a fallicy I think,

particularly in the context of left wing and right wing birds of a feather flocking together at a Trump rally. There is an enormous difference anyway between what you are terming "society" shutting down speech (so-called) and the government prohibiting it. Enormous. As to the other, what does Dershowitz propose doing about it besides writing an article? What do you propose we do about folks being uncivil?
