I have some familiarity with this group of orthodox Jews in Monsey.

And let me tell you, this report does not surprise me even a little. Might be the most incredibly entitled bunch in the history of the human race. They truly believe that they are entitled to a free ride so they can be free to "study".

ASS-hole - a person or group that considers itself to be entitled to societal benefits to which the rest of us are not.

Like not having to earn your own living, or, failing agreement on that, simply helping yourself to a little govt largess.
