more with your point about degrees being required for jobs that absolutely don't need it. I would actually be in favor of Gubmint going all nanny state and trying to put a stop to that, because I think that has played a hugh roll in increasing demand which has helped costs be able to skyrocket. Seriously Applebees, you want to require a degree to be a manager? A 4 yr. non-college employee hasn't learned enough do that job much better?

Seems to me a plumber, welder, electrician, etc. would need specialized education more than that Lowe's Dept. Mgr., yet they would be expected to pay taxes so my kids could get "free" college.
