Indeed! Beloved ditch diggers and wall builders, at that -- except one


problem is gonna complicate things a little. The guys willing to dig ditches and build walls are from South of here and will sneak in to get the work. Then when they finish, they'll be trapped over on this side.

Reminds me of the embankment built by the Corps at Petersburg, WV, to keep the South Branch of the Potomac from flooding the town. Only trouble was they didn't continue it far enough upstream, and sure enough the river came up and went around the embankment upstream and flooded the town. Then the stupid embankment kept the water from draining out. Them embankment kinda things can complicate things.
