I may be reading too much into it but sure seems he'll go political

and nominate someone leftie to leave a legacy of changing the make up if they pass, and use it to paint the GOPers as obstructionists regardless. When asked directly yesterday if he was hinting that he would nominate a moderate that could get approval, he basically said not at all.

I can't think of any reason from past behavior why he would change tactics now and put forth someone that could actually get approval from a GOP led Senate. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.
