Burn the gays isn’t a threat

“I’m going to burn all you gays here” I can see as a threat. We’re starting to get into nuance as to what’s a threat, and I’m not an expert.

But generic language of burn the gays on its own is not illegal.

Again, it’s not okay and it’s awful and people saying it shouldn’t be surprised if people and employers don’t want to associate with them. But the government shouldn’t shut down legal speech.
