Iraq and Afghanistan were us invading and pushing a regime change


This is defense money towards a friendly democractic ally to ensure global stability. We want to prevent the guy with nukes from getting up next to Poland, which is a NATO ally and would risk WWIII if Putin attacked it. The money is prevent WWIII, not start it. We want stability. Putin is trying to upend it. He can’t be allowed to do that. We tried with Crimea, it obviously didn’t work.

These situations aren’t even remotely similar.
