That we respect that. That’s the most important thing of all, never more than now.

Al Gore did not agree with the decisions leading to his election loss. I’m sure he felt it was important to get to the right election result, which we hadn’t in his view. Yet he could not have been clearer about what was most important - respecting the institutions our democracy must respect to survive and thrive. That was all that mattered.

Same here. Period, end of story. Unless we’re not quite as into defending our democracy as we like to claim. Gore walked the walk when it was devastating to his aspirations. The least we could do is follow that lead.
