Some jobs require after hours support such as IT functions


It's one thing with a boss bugging you about something that can wait, quite another when there is an computer issue at 2am. I did have a boss (she was in MD, I was in VA) that liked to call me to "talk" about her kid, her husband, her family, her neighbors, even other employees (highly inappropriate). If it was during business hours I would answer and do other work while she ran her mouth in the background. But after hours, no fucking way was I gonna answer.
