First off, Fox didn’t lose — they settled and with no admission of guilt. Defendants do this all the time to mitigate further damage — it’s a business decision.

Second, also like Trump, a leftist judge disallowed any defense Fox could have made in court, leaving it with no option but to settle. Fox was in a star chamber, knew it and cut its losses with a meaningless settlement worth about a quarter’s worth of earnings and no admission of guilt. Big deal. Big.

Third, as with Trump, a crooked court in a blue jurisdiction allowed a political trial to go forward that never should have been allowed simply because the target was a hated political entity. Fox is part of the press, and in this country, the press is — or, rather, was — allowed to 1) express opinion and 2) be wrong, ESPECIALLY about political matters. That is MSNBC’s and CNN’s entire business model, for example.

Fox, though — like Trump — was held to different standards and never had a chance. It was a show trial. Try either case in, say, Iowa, and the plaintiffs would have been laughed out of court in both instances.

You lefties think the outcomes of these show trials in blue areas represent reality. You think they prove something to normies. They’re not, and they don’t. Or, rather, they do prove something, but they don’t prove what you think they prove. They prove something very different. And then you wonder why Trump surges in the polls every time some leftist prosecutor perverts our justice system to target him.
