That happens a lot from what I've gathered and read.


I've seen my mom get nasty and that's not in her nature. It's wild when the helpers at her memory care place try to make sure everyone has a little bit of water. They all refuse and yell and cuss in unison, it's like a prison riot. I love water, I don't know why old folks hate it so much.

Dementia is so sad, I'm thankful for the lighter moments and when my mom is fairly lucid. She now has probably asked me like a 1000 times, "who are you and what relation are you to me?".
