Seems like in the last 10 years or so, China has overtake Russia as the


Main adversary. Partially because current GOP doesn't want to see Russia as adversary and partially probably because Russia just doesn't look strong now. An adversary is needed to help the military industrial complex going, so China is filling that void. Although admittedly China/Xi is not really helping themselves with their policies.
