And then there's Trump. We know that Biden can beat him. Anyway, the

question is moot. There are quite a number of potential candidates in the Democratic party, but none of them are running, are they? And at this point it's too late. The primaries are essentially over. Biden won them all handily. Some candidate picked by party officials isn't going to win the general election, in all likelihood.

So, it isn't happening, unless Biden croaks. Which would make for a fascinating situation with a now incumbent President Harris.
