But facts are facts. 165K a year puts you in the top 10% of income earners in the US.

Try getting someone living in New Mexico or Iowa struggling to make it on $15 an hour to feel bad for you because you're making 250K a year but you're living in San Francisco and having trouble making ends meet. They will laugh at you all the way to the poor house.

Of course, maybe thats the problem we have relating to the lower income voter whos drawn to Trump. I happen to fall within that top 10% income (at least when my wife and i were both working) and I do have a hard time feeling sorry or bad for people who are making minimal levels of income. I want to say, find another job...move to a better area...dont settle in your life if youre not getting everything you want out of life. But maybe, I dont really have a good sense of empathy for these folks.

Guess what Im trying to say is that nobody is going to feel sorry for you if youre making 6 figures but you live in San Fran, New York, LA, etc.
