Not that this isn't also a benefit of having a strong and solidified NATO, it certainly is. Just trying to clarify what is and isn't an obligation under NATO. And what is required of existing members towards when accepting new members. If Ukraine were a NATO member, we would already have "boots on the ground" and likely a WWIII by now.

Sadly, I worry that Taiwan may be the next place where these added benefits are put to the test.
