More than half of the population lives in the northern county, New Castle, near Wilmington. It is deep blue. The state gets more rural as you go south and turns redder. The only part of Sussex, the southernmost county, that's blue is the seacoast. A blue wave may be coming to it as people, mostly from NJ, retire, sell their home in NJ, and buy one here for cash. The Dem Speaker of the State House of Representatives represents the beach resorts, and we just elected a Dem State Senator for the area. The GQPer who formerly represented the area retired rather than get his head handed to him in the general election. Next on the list is the GQPer representing the area on the county council which is all GQP.

You see cars around here with oval location stickers with LSD on them for "Lower Slower Delaware".
