Most of our guards are combo guards, Reece included. He never really ran

the 1 until this year (and Malcolm ran it plenty in a reserve role but was better in a scoring role). Remember our PGs tend to walk the ball up the court and pass and are primarily on-ball defenders. I think both Reece and Malcolm took the opposing teams best guard and made him their bitch for 40 minutes.
