from the Fed keeping interest rates lower than where they should have been during the expansion (both of these may have limited our degrees of freedom in responding to the pandemic down the road, particularly the latter).

I hold Sleepy responsible for the impact of that last, unnecessary round of stimulus; but whoever won the 2020 election would have been dealing with inflation in the years following the pandemic. Some of that impact was caused by factors outside of our control, and the die was cast for the rest (Donnie's and Mitch's Covid response / stimulus - there was a lot of it).
