For his last year, and the economy was propped up by trillions in Covid relief aid. and, of course, Trump inherited an economy that was rocking along nicely on the same trendline, and all Trump dead was increased the national deficit even before the pandemic.
Biden has had to deal with the repercussions of the pandemic and the damage to supply chains across the world which caused the inflation in prices in 22, and into 23. We were told since the early days of the Biden presidency that a recession was right around the corner. I think the Biden administration has done an admirable job guiding us through economic turbulence. And I think Trump and his followers have told enough lies about how this is all Biden’s fault, and the destruction is intentional and all of that nonsense that enough people have developed a strong case of the recencies.
