I am in 100% agreement with this. And I believe it is probably closer to


...90%+ if you have the respondents add in a few very simple questions that may be outliers..

Give me my prefilled form,
1) provide a click through to see how they arrived at each number and the law in the code that relates to that,
2) allow me to fill in any items that are still unknown
3) Allow me to file a response that states I do not agree and why
4) Maybe I want to contribute to IRA before April 15th....allow that...

I suspect you'd get 90% of all tax payers...maybe more. And think about how easy that would be to administer and enforce. Then, you could hire smarter people to chase down the higher end ones....and again, that should all be able to be validated by AI. Ensure all tax payers not using the auto system, file their taxes electronically, and make sure the damn system supports every variable. Then turn it over to the Tax Terminator.
