Again, you can claim self-defense even in a road rage incident, but being able to make that claim will (and should) be more difficult to do on a public road than with someone that has encroached into your home, or in this case, onto your property. That act of encroaching into your home or onto your property alone is adding, but isn't the only thing needed, to the perceived threat from which you need to protect yourself. You don't see a difference between someone saying they're going to "beat you to death" inside your living room and on the street where you can more easily walk away? Why wouldn't that also apply if it happens in your front yard?

Now back to the claim that this is "legalizinng killing undocumented migrants".......
