Biden’s trying to do what he thinks is the right thing, which would also probably align with these pissed off voters, going forward. Israel is past the point of diminishing returns now. Has been for a while. They will not destroy Hamas - they seem to know that. Maybe Hamas won’t technically be governing Gaza after all this, but god only knows what extremism Israel’s created with its onslaught. If they continue it, many Pals will tragically pay with their lives, and militants will also be killed, but not as many as have already almost certainly been manufactured.

In the minds of the uncommitted Muslim/Arab voters, Biden’s responsibility for the Gaza carnage so far is already baked in. It’s a terrible challenge to his re-election hopes. He may well wind up alienating his Jewish and Muslim base. Toss up indeed. At best.
