I am saddened and ashamed by that clip.
The National Religious Broadcasters was once a respectable organization, beginning with Christian radio in the 1940s. It organized to give the stations a place at the table when broadcast regulations are formulated and pushed for financial accountability. My mom would listen to the radio in the kitchen in the morning and politics was never mentioned. Like many things, the rise of the Religious Right in the 1980s (Falwell, Robertson, and Weyrich and more) changed the game, and then Obama was elected, and the NRB really went downhill. Then there was last night's Trump appearance.
