A "Reagan conservative" would be concerned with the spread of an evil ideology -- i.e. , communism. Whatever one might say about the Russia-Ukraine situation, it ain't about communism. It's an ancient blood feud that we can't possibly comprehend -- nor should we care about -- set off into a hot war by the Biden admin's misguided insistence on bringing Ukraine into NATO.

That point aside, the second "Reagan" bullet is absurdity on stilts. First off, if we wanted to build out our military capability, then we are perfectly capable of doing so without ALSO sending weapons abroad to be used elsewhere. We can just stockpile them to protect our own lands. Second, building and using weapons creates zero economic value -- it's just money set on fire. It is spending money on destruction and not "creating any jobs" In fact, it's pulling labor away from actually productive industry.
