The border security stuff is complete BS, plain and simple


They negotiated for months on the border and came to a bipartisan agreement that was blown up by the GOP before it was even allowed to be brought to the floor. "Another round" of negotiations wasn't going to change the basic facts of that situation (the GOP would've pulled the rug out again), but they were going to delay everything on Ukraine and Israel to unacceptable lengths. As far as the merits of Ukraine funding, I'll leave you with this tweet by Marc Thiessen, a former Bush admin official.
