a week ago a nice woman called me about renovating the marquis of an old 600 seat Movie theater. The building is in a small town in Virginia's south-central piedmont region. Evidently the theater had been closed since the early 80's. She said she had moved out to Los Angeles in the early 70's and had worked in the Movie/Television industry. She retired and moved back to her hometown. She bought the theater to renovate it and maybe use it in conjunction with the Community Colleges in the area for Film schools, etc. One comment she made really had an impact. She said "the last time I was in this Theater I was only allowed to sit in the Balcony". Now she owns the building.
