Agreed, the fewer the better. Give consumers choice, options, the power to


select. Give banks the option to create different structures, options. Disclosure requirements are one thing and generally make sense, it’s the basic idea of a contract so everyone understands what they are agreeing to. But limiting all these things from existing should be unnecessary.

Especially at the federal level. At least states have less power and you have more options. I don’t think there are federal usury laws and know state laws do vary a lot to the extent that some states have little or no effective limit on interest rates, especially when it comes to credit cards.
