tortured argument, but I’m guessing if you asked a Dem, they’d say that tolls help pay for roads, park fees help pay for parks, and gas taxes both help pay for roads and help account for (a small portion of) the huge externalities associated with oil and gas that are not otherwise reflected in the price of a gallon of gas.

Overdraft fees on the other hand are almost pure profit for the banks, and are technically short term loans and thus the fee is a form of interest rate in a sense and thus subject to usury laws.

I don’t agree with the move, although it’s not the biggest deal for me either way, but it’s one small reason (among thousands) that the Trump party needs to be destroyed and replaced with an actual conservative alternative to the Dems… instead of the current authoritarian, populist party that pledges loyalty to Trump.
