Yes they are, as is Italy. But after having returned there to ski after


having skied out west, I realized much of that feeling was harkening back to childhood memories (and of course the experience of being in Europe - well worth it) and less about the actual skiing.

In terms of quality of skiing, mountain and snow, you still have to hand it to Utah and Colorado.
