Rather than a specific policy by Biden, I think it's more of an Overton

window shift as one party stays in power, and there are demonstrably bad people with bad ideas inside and around the Democratic Party/American left. The far left is IMO just as dangerous as the far right ideologically. The only reason they're less dangerous in practice is because there's fewer of them at the moment ... but I have no doubt they'd be just as dangerous, violent and dismissive of the rule of law in large groups.

I think Biden has been OK on policy...

The withdrawal from AFG was pretty unquestionably a disaster, and with Russia/Ukraine and Israel/Gaza already at war, the US and Houthis in active conflict, Venezuela/Guyana (with a side of Brazil) about to be at war and China/Taiwan closer to war, there's good reason to question his supposedly deft touch on foreign policy. I do think the outreach and partnership with Mexico is great policy, and strategically very value to our future prosperity and security.

At home ... let's see. Inflation is hard to blame on him with all the money pumped into the economy during Covid. But I remain skeptical that we're going to stick the soft landing. The commercial real estate bubble burst is coming, and it's naive to think that won't have downstream effects ... and residential real estate remains insanely expensive and out of reach to far too many people under 40. Covid policy created a massive wealth transfer from the young to old -- almost inarguably unfair given that the young and healthy were at very low risk of Covid in the first place. Basically if you were a boomer that owned your home outright Jan 1, 2020, your net worth has probably 3x'd since then and if you were looking at buying a starter home in 2020, you probably still don't have it and feel 5-10 years away from even being able to afford it now. So anyway ... I'm not as bullish on the economy as most.
