I do ... I want a check on the left on numerous fronts but can't in good

conscience vote for Trump. I'd vote for basically anyone left other than Vivek who is a world class blowhard. There are times I think he makes a decent case on some issues, but I just can't get past his takes on other issues like Ukraine as well as his general naiveté on foreign policy, federal reserve policy, etc.

Haley is pretty good. I liked her a long time ago -- volunteered for her gubernatorial campaign when she was a long shot candidate, actually. I've met her several times and she's a nice person of solid character. I think she has a clear view of the geopolitical challenges we face and has a decent moral compass guiding her. Working for Trump and defending his nonsense is definitely a negative, but she stood up to the most egregious conduct, and I don't think she has a genuine MAGA bone in her body.

RDS has run an awful campaign and has become a significantly worse governor since running for President (both officially and unofficially), but I think he's competent, sane and I *hope* some of his worst instincts politically are just trying to appeal to Trump voters than actual policy positions. I think/hope he'd govern better than he campaigns, but given how bad he campaigns it's probably a non-issue.

Christie is ... Christie. I think he's dead wrong on a lot of criminal justice issues, marijuana for instance. He's sane, he's conservative-ish, and he's critical of Trump. He's probably got the best chance vs Trump in a 1v1 debate, too, but it doesn't seem likely he's going to get there.
