The Biden DOJ/FBI raided their political opponent's residence (based on a fraudulently obtained search warrant) on a fishing expedition during which they seized massive amounts of his personal belongings, including paperwork and files. They did so without Trump or his attorney present, and they forced all MAL surveillance footage of the raid to be terminated so no one could see what they did. They then claimed the (illegally) seized materials from MAL proved Trump was illegally in possession of certain material, but they refused to let anyone see said material, including the judge.

This is why Cannon ordered the special master -- it's obviously absurd for the prosecution to hide information from the court while claiming that same information is the sine qua non of its case. Her appointee had all necessary security clearances and was uniquely capable of vetting the validity of DOJ's claims as well as separating out the property stolen from Trump that had nothing to do with the case.

So, the raid and subsequent hiding of the seized material from public view was all great for Fake News consumption and election interference purposes, which was the driving force behind the indictment, but now the DOJ is in the unfortunate position of having to prove its case without providing discovery to either the defense or the court, not to mention presenting the alleged evidence to the jury. This is what I mean when I say that the case was never intended for trial. The DOJ was simply trying to seize information belonging to their boss' political foe which might prove politically useful down the road.

But they have nothing that can help them actually win their bullshit case, so now they simply refuse to provide discovery, forcing the judge to stay the proceedings, and then, like clockwork, the NPCs come out of the woodwork to call her a hack.
