But this is where I want to see some accountability. People will say absolutely anything at this point, and we just suck it up. Wherever there has been real damage, wherever we see grounds for defamation, I want to go after these fuckers. If we can't count on our "leaders" to act like adults, then we need to find some other way to get them to STFU. Hit them hard.

Same for the frivolous lawsuits and bullshit evidence. I want to see the authorities going back after these assholes when there is the opportunity to do so.

We need to change the way we interact in this country. Assertions and accusations need to be supported by evidence, we need to speak from a fact base. We need to show our work. It is the American way, and it has been perverted beyond recognition by the MAGA losers (and others). This is perhaps the worst part of Trump's legacy, the lying and our newfound tolerance of liars. Along with needlessly sowing distrust in our institutions and "fake news". The damage is intentional - usually so someone can make a few bucks.
