I do not think the article is about antisemitism

It is about the hijacking of US Universities - and in some districts, schools - by the most left faction of the country. And there was plenty of evidence before October 7 and it gets a ton of coverage, it is just that - as Fergusen explains - it is tolerated by the more moderate leftists (for lack of a better word). That tolerance is on display here daily. October 7 and the subsequent reaction from the left just made the evidence irrefutable. The hypocrisy of Gay and her cohorts when comparing her and her instituion's reactions on Oct 7 to George Floyd is simply staggering.

So what is the motive? I believe what has been discussed here: in the case of those who show tolerance, self preservation. For those that actually believe, it is power and totalitarianism. As NF wrote: "totalitarianism of the right and the totalitarianism of the left had fundamentally similar characteristics. In particular, they loved to impose Newspeak on those they subjugated."
