Yes, at some point I believe the gov't has the right to protect the life of
the not yet born child, you could argue even the duty to do so. As did those that ruled in favor of Roe. With that approach, we're only discussing at what point that should be (and if that should be decided at the Fed or State level), somewhere between conception and birth.
If you don't accept that the state ever has that right, and that it should only be "a decision made by a woman and her doctor", the only possible answer you can accept is "anytime, anywhere, for any reason".
You can try to rationalize that point by saying later term abortions rarely happen, and you're not wrong, but then you're only protesting a cutoff that doesn't affect virtually anyone. And still not changing that the only thing you'll accept is "anytime, anywhere, for any reason".
