decent watches (Seikos, Longines, etc). Near the store was an apartment tower where a large Jewish population lived since it was within walking distance of a nearby Synagogue. On occasion a couple would walk in and want to try on a watch. When they pulled up their shirt sleeve to expose their wrist I would see numbers tattooed on their forearms. Nice people...but they had a look in their eyes like they had seen some bad shit in their lives. I remember that look and can only remember seeing it with one other person. I had a customer who had been in the Hanoi Hilton with John McCain and other POWS. He had to same look in his eyes.
