If you say the point is that the Biden administration isn’t doing anything to prevent illegal entry into the US that would be a lie. They’re doing what they can with the resources they have. If you say they are actually encouraging illegal entry that would also be a lie. They are following immigration law. If you say that illegals commit crimes at a higher rate than citizens that would also be a lie, as you well know but pretend not to.

Now, if you say that congressional Republicans’ refusal to compromise in any way on their draconian border proposals is blocking funding and resources to better control the border you’d be on to something. But you won’t say that because it’s an inconvenient truth. Republicans have a tiny majority in the House, while the Senate and WH are controlled by Dems. Yet Republicans think they can simply demand that Dems agree to everything they want or Republicans will block any progress of any kind at the border. That’s not how representative democracies work. They work by compromise.
