If there’s really an objection to this, it’s that it’s a further example


Of power gravitating to the exec branch. Otherwise it’s pretty much a non-issue - I looked into heat pumps out of curiosity after I replaced my HVAC (so no heat pump for me for another 20 yrs, I hope), and they apparently work just like current systems, except one unit both cools and heats. No more need for separate furnaces or radiators, and they’re cheaper and more efficient. So unless you hate people saving money, whatever you think about climate change, not sure why anyone would get all “gas stove” over this.

Also not sure what you think is “coy” or what anyone is seeing through, except, again, the notion of the exec branch once again bypassing Congress. That I do get - concerns about ever increasing unchecked power with the executive. But, I mean, what are you smoking if you think a second Trump admin would “fix” that, and can you spare some?
