Putin can’t win, and Xi will have to decide if he really wants to roll the dice in the S China Sea against a unified, committed western alliance of democracies, unless the House majority manages to impose inaction on the west. If they do, I think chances are uncomfortably high that we’re looking at a much wider conflict with nuclear powers soon. Imo probably within 5 years.
