To protect their own right to self determination. NATO supports a nation’s right to its own sovereignty and its citizens’ rights to live as they want to. Please feel free to explain how anyone is forcing them to fight.

If Ukraine wanted to freeze its borders where they are now, and Russia agreed to accept Crimea and the portion of Donbas they now hold to stop hostilities, we and our allies would jump at that. But we’re neither forcing them to fight or imposing a negotiating position on them. They’re calling those shots cuz, you know, it’s their country, not ours.

You’re trying to get millions killed as you make international autocracy great again by proving to Xi, Putin, and Iran and its proxies that western democracies can be frozen into inaction by nihilists like you. Show Putin he can just wait out the west when things get tough, you’ve given Xi and him an engraved invitation to launch their wars of aggression where ever their ambitions dictate. If the anti-autocrats in both parties can stay united and slap down the ryno-Gaetz set, these guys will realize they’ve miscalculated, and that potential global conflict might be avoided.
