Ignorance of its own political extreme. It’s not exactly like “good people on both sides”, with cover being thrown to pure anti-semitism from the pres himself, but there’s sure been some reluctance to push back hard against pure pro-Hamas messaging. Which winds up tolerating pure anti-semitism at a minimum, if not actively advancing it. Which clearly happens in too many cases, given all the many anecdotes of Jewish students under siege at some of our best schools.

I can’t even imagine feeling unsafe walking around a U campus.
