No, I think lies about the 2020 election are far worse. Which renders this story no less mind numbingly stupid in its own right. But yes, if I were in that district and she were up against a hard core election denier, I’d vote for her over the election denier.

Nonetheless, her decision to engage in this kind of exhibitionism for money is its own clueless idiocy along the lines of kids having youthful online indiscretions dog them forever. Except…she’s not a kid, and she’d already decided to run before engaging in the exhibitionism. For money. That’s boneheaded. The controversy itself makes my point for me. She basically did the repubs’ work for them in her district.

If she loses, sounds to me like this will be the reason why. If she wins, her job was much harder because of this self inflicted wound. Clearly, she’s devoting time to defending against this which could have been used to focus on the central issue. Because of her utter, almost comical, lack of judgment.

I’d like my local reps to be better about not stupidly erecting barriers in front of themselves.
