In any event other than a very small minority of fervent anti-Palestinian and fervent anti-Israel advocates, the Party (and the President) are unified in a) horror at the despicable actions of Hamas and b) sympathy for the non-Hamas Palestinians under the near-apartheid conditions imposed upon them by the Netanyahu government over the last two decades (at least), as well as their subjugation by Hamas and their anticipated decimation by the Israeli invasion given Hamas’ human shield strategy.

You can have sympathy for Palestinians and sympathy for Israel’s dilemma, and be harshly critical of BOTH governments, without being either anti-Palestinian or anti-Semitic.

And both Muslim and Jewish voters in Michigan (and elsewhere) are discerning enough to understand this,even if a small number of idiots on this board (and the right wing media, generally) can’t or won’t.
