You’re 100% right. Right now, both Muslim and Jewish voters have perceived

Issues with the dem party. Parts of it. Voters of any kind who are ardent supporters of either side have issues with the dems. Which gets muddled - there are many left wing Jewish folks protesting against Israel.

But it’s a hard line to walk. Many Palestinian supporters fully buy accusations about colonialism (which has no basis in actual history, but that doesn’t matter nowadays), and many Israeli supporters want Israel to have free reign to do whatever it wants in Gaza. So, to them, the Biden Admin is equivocating. Both sides feel that way.

For all kinds of reasons we obviously want this to end ASAP with as little additional blood as possible. But imo, politically, that can’t come soon enough for the Biden admin, which is being pulled in opposite directions by different constituencies. Best hope is that when passions dissipate to a degree, they’re seen as having tried hard for a reasonable middle road.
