Are entirely Israel’s doing. That’s why it mentions the Hamas “attack” with no further qualification. No mention of “terrorism” or “atrocities”, just attack. Followed by this laundry list of grievances, characterized as Israel’s doing entirely, and the conclusion about ethnic cleansing, which, I’m sorry, is not Israel’s goal, as they are being as careful as one can be while targeting terrorists hiding in and below hospitals and apartment buildings, and Israel has indicated 0 interest in occupying or governing Gaza. Imo, still not 100% that we’ll see a ground invasion, although it’s likely.

They lie about Hamas and its attacks (by omission -still a lie). They lie about Israel’s intentions. They have the temerity to invoke the Holocaust in condemning Israel for responding to the worst mass atrocity against Jews since…the Holocaust.

The left has to stop this shit. It tolerates the illiberalism on its extreme left in so many ways, including wokeness run amok. It coddles it not unlike most anti-Trumpies think the institutional right did its illiberal extreme, helping to usher in Trumpism. So far, I think Joe’s moral clarity has been outstanding. I just think the rest of the left has to hold its extreme to that same standard. It has to stop turning a blind eye, or it will be complicit with the right in destroying democracy here.
