I suspect there are enough members to be able to agree


on some legislation that would empower the center. I agree it's time.

It seems like doing so in a robust way would disempower the fringes for once.

I dunno. I'll confess I'm not real confident of that. I really dislike Bibi and his rightwing coalition, and I dislike the settlement infringements. But Hamas is without any redeeming qualities, and Isreal has a duty to protect their people. We need to stand by our ally. I think Biden is doing that well while trying to prevent a total regional conflagration. The odds of a wider war is way too high above zero for my liking here.
