Money but I am all for additional funding for more resources along the border. I’m not against deporting actual illegals, excluding those awaiting asylum hearing, and other than those who have established a productive, taxpaying life here and can prove it. We need them, a lot of people think we need more than just them. They are important contributors to our economy and country.
I think all human beings in this country deserve some level of public support. those here actually illegally and not contributing to society can get basic food and shelter until they are on transportation out of here. Those here contributing to our society and paying taxes, even though not citizens, should have a reasonable path to citizenship and be treated with respect as people and taxpayers.
I am not for open borders. I believe there needs to be an orderly process for people to apply to enter our country, definitive rules, as to who can apply for watt, and for how long, significant penalties for anyone who tries to break the entry process, and sufficient resources and deployment of technology along the border to force people to go through the ports of entry. That requires an infrastructure and funding that doesn’t exist today. I also think the number of immigrants we should allow in should be materially increased to reflect the number of low level jobs that remain unfilled, but are necessary to our economy.

So, I of course, find it lunacy that you would identify me, or someone like me as for open borders. That is simply untrue. And so outrageously untrue to make me believe that’s just lipstick on your piggish views about certain foreign people.
