So, that’s flat out crazy. It just doesn’t occur to you that a reason for

Accepting people fleeing from dire circumstances, and looking for an opportunity for better lives in the US… is just the right thing to do, consistent with our history, and with the values that we all supposedly share. Immigration needs to happen on this orderly basis as possible, but that requires both parties coming to some level of agreement on how laws should be changed, and how border patrol and protection should be funded.

Dude, the Dems already win the popular vote and national elections. The demographics are all in favor of the democratic party. They don’t need to attract a new pool of voters from the south of the border.
