That's the stupid part. They have caught over 100 people at the border this year who have ties to terror cells. Over 100! How many do you think got thru?

Also, let's be real and cut the bullshit. My Irish grandma and her parents came over when she was 3. Your grandparents came over from Italy. But what did they do? They came in legally. Illegal alien is a term because that's exactly what is happening. Our grandparents wouldn't have been called illegal if the term existed then. Because they weren't! And also, my grandparents never went on gov't aid, nor did their parents. They went to work.

You guys just cry way too much. Always focusing on the touchy feely shit and taking your eye off the ball. It's unbelievable the crap that gets spewed so we can have lax security measures.

And as to my other points, you are going to tell me with a straight face that there isn't ANY criminal element coming in? You're going to tell me you haven't heard of the many folks trying to get in here who have been murdered, raped, etc? I'm actually concerned for the welfare of these people among my security concerns and cost to our country concerns.

I'll give you another example of immigration that is a little more modern. One of my best friends is Palestinian. His father worked on oil drills and was an engineer. They are Christian Palestinians and fled their homeland to get away from the crazies. His father couldn't be an engineer here unless he started over. So he became a house painter. They lived modestly but had strong work ethic, morals and a strong family.

The father has passed. Everything he earned went towards his family. He had no vices that I know of. He was a real man and a great one. He had 4 children. My friend is a doctor, his older brother is an engineer, his younger brother is in finance and his sister is a teacher. Guess what? They applied for citizenship and came here legally.

So no, I really don't like the fact that we bend the rules for South America. But I know that some of the people coming will have an American success story like my friend Ghasson, maybe not them but maybe their kids. I am as concerned about their safety and passage as I am about security as well as the cost to us. I thought I made that clear. This is not only a security crisis, it's a humanitarian crisis. And we need to be serious about it and come up with a real plan instead of winging it and pointing touchy fingers at people who are serious.
